Hey Turtles!
Torgo here, today I'd like to introduce the first ever Turtle World team contest. Out contest called "Who wants to be a librarian?". Let me explain the contest in some small details:
In Turtle World, there is an awesome library, a library is a place in which you can go and read books. Over the next few months, we will be adding books into the library for you and your turtle friends to read!
We need help! We're offering YOU, an imaginative young turtle, the chance to have one of your books in the Library.
Here's what you have to do:
You have to first think of an idea for your book. Why not make a spin-off fairy tale book. You could call it "The Turtle and the Hare" or "Turtlella" or "The little green riding hood". A few titles to name a few.
Make a plan for what will happen in your book from beginning, middle to the end. These are your 3 MAIN POINTS when creating a piece of writing.
For example, this would be my plan:

Title:Turtlella
Beginning- A long blonde haired turtle dressed in rags is being asked to do lots of different jobs by her two ugly step-turtles.
Middle-A flea circus randomly appears in the middle of her home whilst her evil step-turtles go out to find a dress for the ball. The flea circus ask turtlella to bring them some things, a pumpkin and a dirty old cloth. They turn the pumpkin into a carriage and the dirty old cloth into a beautiful sparkly dress for turtlella. She ends up going to the ball.
End-She falls in love but the clock strikes midnight, she rushes home. The next morning she has a knock on her door to see if the glass slipper fits. It does, Turtlella and the Prince live happily ever after.

Once i'd have wrote my plan, i'd start writing. Firstly, i'd make a limit on how many pages/lines I can do for a different scene. So for the first scene i'd probably restrict myself to about 12 or so lines to introduce who the main characters are and to show the reader what the main character is doing and the story about the book.
**Books must be at least 4 pages/40 lines long and have at least 300 or more words in your book.**
